Job Vacancy Announcement – Junior Product Owner (Remote)

Sagar is a software development enterprise which focuses on impact-driven development with well-use of the technology. Sagar currently offers LMS platforms which as an individual educator or organization, they will be able to disseminate/teach/create any information, topics and curriculums with easy-access and user-friendly interface dashboard. And, as a student, they will be able to learn any topics, curriculums at their fingertips through chatbot with low internet bandwidth and device compatibility. Sagar pioneered chatbot-based LMS in Myanmar back in 2019. Sagar is heavily based on Machine Learning Technology and Natural Language Processing in order to be a user-friendly and humane chatbot in order to guide students in their learning journey. 

About Junior Product Owner Role – The Junior Product Owner is responsible for managing the product roadmap, gathering feedback from both internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring product features meet business needs. This role involves collaborating with various teams, prioritizing development tasks, supporting product-related inquiries, and tracking the effectiveness of released features. You will also conduct competitor analysis, user research, and work closely with the tech team to troubleshoot issues and improve processes. 

SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

● Leverage the overall digital platforms, lead the vision and roadmap of the product in cooperation with Marketing, Education and Tech teams. 

● Understand the feedback-loop for digital products and gather requirements not only with internal teams but also with external stakeholders. 

● Work on product roadmaps, prioritization issues and backlog adjustment, timeline in terms of business needs and user’s feedback 

● Ensure that functional requirements, wireframes, user journeys, design and product requirements, and other artifacts as needed to support technical design & development are developed and signed off from stakeholders 

● Monitor the progress of the effectiveness in released features and functionalities.

● Support the clients/stakeholders for product related trainings, inquiries, defect handling in cooperation with the tech team. 

● Identify areas of improvement and the process of work to be efficient and effective on a daily basis. 

● Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot operational errors and work closely with the technical team to address any underlying technical issues. 

● Communicate effectively with all stakeholders (internal and external) synchronously and/or asynchronously. 

● Follow-up the specific action to stakeholders when necessary. 

● Conduct global and local competitor’s analysis. 

● Keep track of market and tech trends. 

● Conduct heuristic evaluation. 

● Do error analysis ပdaily, weekly and monthly. 

● Do user research.
