About This Role – The role is mainly responsible for creating Educational related video content by conceptualizing, designing, and producing high-quality instructional multimedia assets. It serves as the crucial bridge between subject matter expertise and visual learning, transforming intricate, often abstract, academic and technical concepts into effective video visualizations. It will work directly with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Instructional Designers to ensure all media align with specific learning objectives. This role oversees the entire multimedia production process, from script and storyboard creation to animation, post-production, and final asset delivery.

SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Collaborate & Strategise: Partner with subject matter expert/ senior curriculum designer and instructors to deeply understand learning objectives and extract the core concepts from complex source material.
  • Design & Storyboard: Translate raw information into compelling visual narratives, creating storyboards and animatics that form the blueprint for each video.
  • Create & Animate: Take ownership of the production process, using the expertise in motion graphics and video editing to produce exceptional instructional animations and videos.
  • Iterate & Refine: Actively participate in feedback loops with the team and learner groups, using constructive criticism to elevate the quality of the work.
  • Innovate & Explore: Stay current with the latest trends, tools, and techniques in motion design and educational technology to ensure our content remains fresh and effective.
  • Technical Mastery: Utilising the tools such as the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop and having advanced-level proficiency with them.
  • Instructional & Visual Design: Creatively translating complex curriculum into clear, effective visual concepts.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCES: 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Film, Instructional Design, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3D Animation: Proficiency in Blender, Cinema 4D, or similar tools is highly valued.
  • E-Learning Tools: Experience with authoring platforms such as Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate is a strong plus.
  • LMS Knowledge: Familiarity with content deployment and tracking in Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Experience: 1–3+ years in Motion Graphics, E-Learning Development, Instructional Design, or Video Production, with a portfolio showcasing work.
  • Technical Production: Advanced expertise in Adobe After Effects, Premiere, and other animation/video tools.
  • Storytelling: Strong ability to craft narratives, write concise scripts or voiceovers, and create effective storyboards.
